• This artifact is a more in-depth review of our presentation. I went deeper into my reasoning in the scoring rubric. For this project, I organized my notes into a google doc to outline my thoughts and find consistencies in my line of thinking. I noted where recurring themes were brought up and highlighted over what worked well. This allowed me to effectively break down what I liked about the course as well as what I thought could be improved. I then shared the streamline of ideas with my partner. Using the Towson University Gold Standards, we broke down each aspect of the former class and described what worked as well as what could be improved upon. We chose that specific course because we enjoyed being on the learning side of things, but also wanted to give ideas for improvement. We highlighted the effective instruction that took place and overall, it is something that after a few years is still relevant in what we are using within our individual classrooms. The paper went well because it allowed us to explain our reasoning and expand on our thoughts for improvement. As I look back on the paper, I still see how any educator can benefit from taking note of all the categories within the rubric to make their classroom a highly effective learning environment. I will continue to keep the paper’s frameworks in mind as I set out in teaching and other educational professions.
