• This artifact is the final product to a data collection project. I took a look at project-based learning in high schools across the world and noted the results of the findings. My goal was to show the benefit of having students perform projects to build competency in the curriculum. Throughout the project I analyzed data from a variety of sources in order to inform my decision making. The goal was to show how students need to be given the opportunity to demonstrate their learning abilities through active participation in learning-based projects. Overall, I wish I organized this project better. I feel like a presentation would have been more effective than a paper. This can come in handy for future use if I need to reference my philosophy on giving students multiple opportunities to demonstrate their learning within the classroom. I always try to incorporate project based-learning whenever I can in my own lessons.
