• This digital citizenship project is designed for professionals as a guide to plan for a safe and effective online experience. The first section focuses on civically engaging students in projects through the use of technology. The next section focuses on a problem and solution for fostering a community of civic engagement among students. The third section focuses on how to help students verify their sources through modeling exercises. Finally, there is a section on helping students protect their private and personal data. All these sections include real-world examples of ensuring students are kept safe and knowledgeable when navigating the web. This will carry over into the rest of my career since students are continuously accessing the web at an early age. I will continue to demonstrate these elements within my classroom moving forward.
