• This project was about designing a professional learning facilitator plan based on something within your school that I noticed. My findings showed more established teachers are reluctant to include technology in their lessons since they spent most of their career teaching before the classroom tech boom. My plan is centered around aiding and assisting teachers in integrating technology into their classrooms. The multiple professional developments within this plan aims to build the capacity of educators, leaders, and instructional teams to put the ISTE standards into practice. There are multiple resources needed to complete this plan, but with an investment of time and consistency, I believe this facilitator plan would work wonders for students and teachers. Looking back, I am fully aware of how wordy the presentation is. My presentation had to be 10-15 minutes, so there was a time crunch with getting the information out. With a lighter restriction, I would love to spread the information out and dive deeper into each section. In the future this PD can be applied to any learning environment outside of school. All businesses are struggling with keeping people tech savvy, and it is important to slow down and invest the time to help those people out.
