  • Scope and Summary: This project focuses on curriculum-driven budgeting and donor advocacy in a school library setting. The project includes creating a curriculum map, developing a budget proposal using a zero-based approach, identifying a potential donor, and crafting a pitch statement and mock social media flyer to advocate for funding.
  • InTASC Principle: This project aligns with InTASC Principle #10: Leadership and Collaboration.
    • This principle involves me seeking appropriate leadership roles and opportunities to collaborate with various stakeholders to support student learning.
    • The project requires me to take on a leadership role in advocating for library funding and resources. I also made a flyer for after the fact to maintain a relationship with the donor along with advertising for any future donors.
    • By developing a budget, identifying potential donors, and creating advocacy materials, I demonstrated the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and advocate for the needs of the library and its users.
