- Scope and Summary: This document presents a mission and vision statement for my school library at Waterloo Elementary. The mission statement focuses on fostering a lifelong love of learning by providing access to diverse resources, innovative programs, and personalized support. The vision statement outlines the library’s role in empowering students, supporting teachers, reflecting the community’s needs, and promoting literacy and learning.
- InTASC Principle: This project aligns with InTASC Standard #10: Leadership and Collaboration.
- This principle requires me to seek appropriate leadership roles and opportunities to take responsibility for student learning, to collaborate with learners, families, colleagues, other school professionals, and community members to ensure learner growth, and to advance the profession.
- This assignment is where I used school policy and data to determine what would be the best course of vision for our school as we advance and how we can set ourselves up for success in the coming years.
